Semi formal?

my semis in winter (i know i have a while) but i want to start looking im only in grade nine so this is my first semi

any one have ideas for what to wear i have no idea

like how dressy it is

and like what things to wear

i have olive skin

dark brown hair

and hazel/ brown - green eyes

just htough ti put that there for colour choises

please help me (L)

I would disagree with the comment above- its a semi-formal so you do not wear a long dress. Here is a fashion rule of thumb: Semi-formal= cocktail dress (short, fancy dress)

Formal= Long gown

Semi formal?

Winter formal, is semi formal--which means that it isn't as casual as homecoming, but not as formal as prom. (It's all so silly anyways!)

I recommend wearing a longer dress made of silk or velvet or sparkles but nothing to extreme. I don't remember what I wore every year for my winter ball, but I know I always wore a color for homecoming and a darker color for winter ball.

I would wait until mid November before I started looking for a dress. There will be a lot more options and better ways for me to convey the idea then.
