Make up for formal?

I have my year 10 formla coming up and need to have some ideas for my make up. My dress is a teal shade with back and is strapless. i have blue eyes and freckles. my face is tanned and my hair which is browny red is undecided if it is to be up or down. any suggestions...thanks in advance

since the back is strapless it's better for your hair to be up. as an advice( you might take it or not it's your choice) color your hair with a dark brown color to glow your blue eyes. for your formal make up choose smoky brownish in your eyes it's perfect for blue eyes and choose a darker foundation not so dark but darker than your skin color and i advise you to choose seventeen or prestige. for your lips choose natural color with strong glow. my sis is make up dresser and this is her advice.

you should go and get your make up done at the clinique counter at any macys or nordstroms. in advance. go on different days and tell each one you want to look like you have a natural healthy glow without wearing a lot of make up. then see which one you like best. and then see if you can book an appiontment a few hours before your dance.

blue mascara, powder foundation, rose blush, black eyeliner (or black mascara and blue eyeliner) and teal eyeshadow on the bottom lid, a light blue/green on the top lid.

now for your makeup

just a skin tone really glossy lipgloss and pack on the foundation

make your eyeliner really heavy and make your mascara heavy also

the heavyness of the black mascara and eyeliner combined will make your beautiful blue eyes stand out...i have freckles and blue eyes and i love my look when i do this

a simple gloss on your lips and do your eyes:

-eyeliner

-sharkskin

-glitter 2000 on top of the sharkskin

also abit of foundation and with your hair straighten it leaving a flick ant the bottom
