What should I wear to my seventh grade dance? Not to formal, what about my hair?

I am a girl but my bratty little brother set my avatar as a boy, so don't freak! I don't want to tormented by boys for overdressing!

What should I wear to my seventh grade dance? Not to formal, what about my hair?

i would wear a simple dress, or a nice skirt and a cute shirt. depending on what people usually wear. you might want to wear a nice pair of dark jeans and a really cute top.

make sure you find some nice, cute matching jewelry and shoes to bring your outfit together.

make sure your hairstyle is something you'll be comfortable dancing in all night. (same with your shoes, you don't want to be dancing in painful shoes)

i would suggest pulling some of your hair back in a clip or doing two low side braids.

if you need help figuring out how to change your avatar i might be able to help...

no matter what you wear, make sure it's something you feel comfortable in and something that will allow you to be yourself.

good luck at the dance! tell me how it goes!!

*best answer please??*

for your make up, just go for the natural look.

a bit of blush, and mascara, and maybe a little bit of eyeliner, to enchance your eyes, and you're set to go.

if you want you're lips to look good, go for clear lipgloss, but not lipstick, or it'll look too over done.

hope i've helped.

i'd wear some light foundation and blush on your cheekbones. wear some dark eyeliner and mascara to make your eyes really stand out. choose a bright color of eyeshadow if you really want to stand out. i would also suggest going with a sheer lipgloss.

you'll look great! Report It

Well, babe.

The life of the party never worries about wearing the wrong thing.

If you are a hottie, it wouldn't matter if you were dressed in a tee shirt and jeans at a formal; people would still love you.

%26amp; vice versa, if you can pull off a hot prom dress at a casual dance, heckk, all eyes will be on you and you'll be the envy of the night!

Hehe, and I'm gonna be a freshman next year, so I'm not much older than you.

So let me tell you this much: guys aren't gonna "torment" you over what you wear. The not-so-smart guys and other chicks who care too much about things that don't matter might ask you why you're not dressed "like them" but just be cool.

If you're confident in what you're wearing and who you are, they'll be like, "Wow, why didn't I think of that" or "Oh gosh, I wish I could pull that off like her"

Guys that are "real" guys will be lookin at you and how you're shining, they'll be lookin at your face and your body and all that... they don't really care what you're wearing hahaha; it's more like what you're [NOT] wearing.

Themes are just fun so people can get dressed up and hyped for an occasion--like school spirit days!

If the theme of the dance was like hawaiian, you wouldn't be a dork for not dressing hawaiian! As long as you're shakin' your groove thing out there and being sexy, not slutty, everything's aaaalright!

To straight-out answer your question though, I'd wear something I'd wear to the club or a party. Like a really sexy halter dress or a halter top and jeans. Hair? I wouldn't worry about it. If it's not a formal, why bother with hairspray? You're gonna be dancing in the dark anyway, and it's way hotter to just be able to relax and swing your hair and headbang when you're dancing hahah!

At the end of the night, you wanna know you had fun, and not worried about what you looked like!
