My hair is very similar to how it is in my avatar, I want to look nice enough to meld with what everyone else is doing, but I don't want prom hair. It's a little longer now than it is in the picture below, but you can barely see how long it is in the back. I can pull it back into a ponytail or pigtails, but not long enough for a bun. I'll probably straighten then curl it a little with pieces aroundmy face, but I don't know what I'll be doing in the big picture. Up or down? And what style? Please include pictures.

Since it isnt very long I suggest putting it up with bobby pins and curing...also try these sites!
take some styling gel and mouse and make sure ur hair is damp then scrunch ur hair to make it curl do tht til u get the desired curl then hairspray and put ur bangs up with a poof
