What things will I have to do to get my skin sparkling,

Hair perfect

smile pretty

photo pose nice

use a nice face mask or go a salon for a facial, make sure you go at least 3-5 days before your formal in case you have a skin reaction and it gives your skin time to settle.

if you are having a hairdo at the salon or at home wash it the night before, trying to do your hair when freshly washed wont sit too well so day before is better.

Keep it simple, don't stress yourself out. What I would do, is use like either a shimmer body souffle/cream (DuWop has a nice one) or Jergens Glow (for fair skin) because you may not want to look tan (or bronzy) instead just alittle sheen will do. If you want to avoid worrying about your hair too much, let it down and straighten it. For a more clean look, pull it back into a low pony tail and accessorize it. This look would go perfectly with a strapless [tube style] dress. I'm not sure what you meant when you say "smile pretty."
