i have medium length brown hair. i need a simple style i can do on my own. its a formal occasion but i want it to stay kinda simple. nothing to *out of this world* haha. i have hairspray, gell, straightener, blowdryer and hairties. anyone with any thoughts or ideas please help mee!!

Depends on the type of hair you have! My hair is wavy going on straight and a really easy to do hair style is to grab half of your hair and with a hair-clip clip half of your hair up and then do the same with the other half. do this a little loosely and pull out a few strands of loose hair around your face to frame it. It looks really great to go out ,but keeping it simple. Hope this helps.

Okay...if you want a bun, this one will give you an awesome bun. You cut the toe of a sock (yes, a sock) and then roll it up until it's like a donut (use two if you wanna bigger bun) and then pull ur hair into a ponytail and slip the "sock" over ur ponytail to where the holder is. Pull your ponytail up to cover it and hold the hair around it in place with a ponytail holder.

One style that can never be out is down. Curl it, and wear it down if you like.
