I have long and sometimes curly hair. Any suggestions or sites I can go to for tips?

You can do any variety of things. Something that's chic is a ponytail. It sounds stupid but you can straighten your hair and put it up high on your head. Then, take a small piece and wrap it around the pony tail holder and it's just a very chic and sophisticated look, especially is you are all dressed up. Another thing to do is wear your hair in hot rollers, take them out, and put your hair half up. You can curl it with an iron too if you would rather do that. The last look I can suggest is loose waves. When your hair is wet, put a tiny bit of mousse in it, not at the top, and wrap it in a bun and secure it with a scrunchie ir a clip, not a har tie. Let it dry and when you take it down spritz it with control spray. Piece out the waves and you should have wavy hair.

I would say let it curl and put it up in a loose updo if pieces fall it looks even better

put it up in a bun with the hair sticking out about a 1/2 inch around it,this way you acheive a cute hair style, but alow people to see how pretty you are.

Why don't you do a french twist? It'll keep your sometimes curly hair out of the way and will always look good on formal wear.

Flat iron it, put curls on the ends. and maybe put some sparkling clips in it. I did my hair myself many years ago for a formal.. it turned out very pretty.. and im definitely NOT a hair stylist. Practice beforehand. :o)
