my hair is very thick,curly,frizzy,sometimes just wavy.I try to curl it and it NEVER stays..i curl it and put alot of hairspray to hold it and it NEVER works. It just falls out in literaly 5 minutes!...i have a formal dance that i am attending in about a week and i need tips on what i can put in my hair to keep it in the curls all night. please help.

try Curl Conscious Creme by Bumble and Bumble...it my favoriteeee...it holds well and gets rid of frizz...hairspray it practically useless on curly hair...
if you want those big perfect ringlets you're going to have to blow it straight then use a curling iron
but honestly school dances, if thats what it is, are hot and sweaty...everyones hair gets ruined

use a cream or product that creates curls. i use garnier fructis curl shaper while my hair is damp...i flip my hair upside down and spray underneath my hair too...wait a bit...then spray my hair with hairspray, and wait for it to dry out. and there you go, i have curls.

Everyone is different, but this is what works for me. I have naturally curly hair, just enough to curl, and just enough to frizz. After I wash and condition my hair, while it is still damp, I put in mousse, then a heavy-duty gel, finger-push it into the style I want, then spray with a heavy-duty hold hairspray. That will last me all day, 12 hours easy.
