I need an easy way to style my hair for a formal!?

I have medium length brown hair that has layers. It pretty much holds anything (curls,crimps,etc.) And I can't use hairspray because I'm allergic to it,but I can use gel. Help me please?

All you use is gel . NO hairsprays .

I did this style on a few girls that went to the prom and they loved it .

they always have THE CUTEST hairstyles

and i even think they're prom additions out now!

ur lucky ur hair can hold curls ect.

mines too heavy so i cant do a lot of the hairstyles in seventeen

Curl it with a medium sized barrel curler like go crazy with it

and when the night goes on the curls wont be as tight and it'll look wavy but be sure to rub gel in your hands and LIGHTLY put the gel on your curls

I've got a simalar style hair and i always think it looks good if u pull it back into a ponytail and then twist it and clip it up with a crocodile hairclip n then use either hairspray or serum to make the ends look a bit neater and come out over the clip.

Another style I like is just going natural and having it loose and either put into loose curls or straightened and serum put in to show the layers better and smooth it down. I use one from tresemme.
