i am totally lame with hair, and unless i just had it professionally done. I ALWAYS have my hair in a bun/pony tail/braids, ect. winter formals tomm, and my hairstylist just got sick and shes the only one i trust doing my hair! im wearing a strapless dress, so im planning on wearing my hair down. i really want to straighten it and tease back the center part of my hair/bangs, and im not into curls or crimping. so i really need help on tips how to get my hair perfect because i have extremly thick hair, and ughh i just need major help!!!

after straightening your hair, take the front of your hair (like if you were going to cut it for bangs) and tease it. pull it back softly and bobbypin it. then take the sides and in small strips twist them pull them up and bobbypin them behind the bobbypins holding in your "bangs" leave the rest down.

There is this one stuff you can pick it up anywhere even wal-mart!!! I dont remember exactly what it was called but it is in a strange yellow can/bottle thing and it has a huge silver nozzel its amazing in every aspect of life!!!

Buy a hair straightener if you don't already have one, than take small sections of hair and straighten it.. run over it a couple of times so that it's pin straight!

Also, try using herbal essences dangerously straight, pin straight shampoo and conditioner tonight before straightening it! It helps smooth out and "pre-stragihten" your hair!

for a great hairstyle i wet my hair, and i scrunch my hair with loreal springing curls mousse. when it drys it will still have the "wet" look. and it gives you great curls.

take a shower tonight and blowdry your hair with a round brush then once you are done take a flat brush and brush it then straighten your hair TONIGHT then before you go to bed put a scruncii around it but dont put it in a high pony tail. tomorrow befor the formal straighten your hair again and then before you leave just spray some hairspray on it and your good to go =]

Oh thats easy. straighten your hair in sections with a flat iron, but not too hot it will burn your hair after you have it all straightened out, take your bangs and the center part of the top of your hair, take it by 2 inch sections and tease it with a comb, and spray it with hair spray, then bobby pin it on each side in the back
