my semi formal is coming up really soon and i dont know how to do my makeup. i have long platinum blonde hair, which i think im gonna get curled. and blue eyes. what colors and makeup would look best on me. if it helps my dress is dark purple with gold shimmer. im wearing a small gold necklace and gold flats. (and for eyeshadow i want to avoid purple) thanks so much:)

well i have the same hair and eyes as you... so if i where you i would go with the gold.. but make it kinda smokey..... just dont go overboard with it!

I suggest golden tones for eyeshadow, with dark liner and mascara, but a more natural lip color.

Orange is the opposite color of blue on the color wheel. this makes them "complimentary colors" I'd pick any eyeshadow with an orange or yellow base to highlight your eyes. Golds, Rust colors, and even Burgundies will look VERY striking with blue eyes. Have fun!

I would suggest a nice smokey eyes effect. Using a golden color and some highlighter. Maybe add just a little purple for the smoke effect towards the corner of your eyes. Check out fashion magazines for more looks!

Go LITE on the purple you will look evil. If you do take a test first put some on and ask some one what they think. It mite be to much. I would go with gold but I'm not you. Stay simple blank eyeliner and black mascara go lite unless you want to look like a witch do a lite pink lip.
