winter formal is tomorrow, and i still really have no idea what im going to do with my hair. i live in wisconsin sooo it is snowing, but i tend to get superrr hot at dances. so im thinking either a up kind of thing or something i can wear down for a little while then put up without it looking weird. i would be doing my hair myself so it can be anything too complicated. heres pictures of my dress

How should i wear my hair to winter formal?(pics)?
What if you did a half-up thing? That way the hair would be out of your face in the front, but still elegant in the back. You could pin up the front part and curl everything that hangs down, both in the front and the back. A little like my avatar... well, not really. Just be aware that certain updos can look kind of old ladyish.

I wouldnt put your hair down, but a nice ballerina bun , with curly thin locks hanging from it would be really nice for a formal dance!!!

I think you should wear your hair like this :

Or like this :

Also, another suggestion is putting curlers in your hair. The results are really pretty ringlets. =)
Whichever you like better!
By the way, I love your hair and dress! Sooo pretty.

Wow. Wear it up like in the 2nd dress pic. It gives you an amazingly different look from down.
Then, later, when the dance degenerates into a less formal formal dance, you can let it straight down for a radically different and informal, fun look.
Then, when you have a decent idea of when you'll be leaving, put it up quickly in a pony-tail to get that fantastic "up" look you have again.
That way you get the proper formal look going in and plenty long enough to make a fine impression on everyone, including your date. Then you get to be remembered as a fun, happy girl later with it down and finally, the last impression you make on everyone is the quick up look again.
Great dress by the way. It sets of its owner superbly well.
Good luck, have fun.
