since its gonna be a formal thing, use foundation after moisturizing your face. make sure you extend the foundation to your neck or you'll look like a zombie. if you have blemishes or imperfections you wanna hide, use concealer. then apply just a little little little loose powder to make your concealer stay put. then apply liquid black eyeliner to your top eyelid. pencil black liner to your bottom eyelid. i'd go with the goldish colour for your face. to make you stand out in the right way. apply some brownish-gold eyeshadow to the top eyelid. then, in between your eyelid and your eyebrow, use a gold shimmery eyeshadow. blend well. also get your brows done if you have to, so you'll get the perfect angular shape to make your eyes pop. if you have nice eyebrows as it is, dont touch it. natural is fabulous. then apply mascara on your top lashes. black again. then, apply bronzer. the goldish colour ones. will make you look fresh and radiant. finish off with preferably a neutral colour lipstick topped with your favourite gloss. maybe a subtle pink would work too, depending on your skin colour. hope this helps hun.

An updo for your hair would be just fabulous! For your makeup..I would go with your regular foundation. I would go with light shimmery colors for the shadows, using the lightest on the browline, darker in the crease, and a line of the lighter above the lashline, and then blend it together. You can top it off with a line of shimmery liner, and then a line of black liner. Black mascara. I like a little bronzer instead of blush. It gives you a glowing look, or a sunkissed look. Light lipstick, and some lip gloss;)
